4 thunderstorm wind, 3 heavy rain, 3 hail. Local standard time, as filed.
A cooperative observer near Interstate 295 and Normandy Blvd. measured 4.06 inches of storm total rainfall.
Scattered power lines were blown down along State Road 40, west of Astor. The time of the event was based on radar.
Dime to penny size hail was observed in Paines Prairie State Park.
Scattered trees were blown down across Paines Prairie State Park.
A HAM radio operator measured 2.9 inches in one hour at the intersection of State Roads 326 and 35.
The Days Inn along U.S. Highway 17 in Yulee reported penny size hail. The hail accumulated to an unknown depth, but it was deep enough on the ground to be scooped. The time of the event was based on radar.
A 60 mph wind gust was measured by the Jacksonville International Airport ASOS. Hail that was about a half-inch in diameter was also observed.
The Jacksonville International Airport ASOS station measured 2.92 inches of rainfall between 5 pm and 6 pm EDT.
Numerous reports of power lines blown down occurred across the Jacksonville west side. The time of the events was based on radar.
