An observer recorded 12 inches of snow in Aspendell (8500'). High winds also occurred during the event, with a peak gust of 72 mph at 0432 PST on the 3rd. The wind piled the snow into drifts six to seven feet high.

This gust occurred 1 mile N of Yucca Valley. Another spotter 5 miles NNE of Yucca Valley recorded a gust of 102 mph at 1130 PST, but since it was measured on a rooftop sensor, it is believed to be unrepresentatively high due to the Bernoulli effect.
