Dense fog developed during the pre-dawn hours and persisted for about 4.5 hours in the counties bordering Lake Michigan from Sheboygan to Kenosha. Visibilities were reduced to around 1/4 mile. Several airplane flights were delayed or cancelled. Raditional cooling of a moist airmass coming in from Lake Michigan led to the dense fog event.
