A 37 year old man was killed when lightning struck a tree he was using for a shelter at the Oakview Links Golf Course. A 33 year old man was injured in the same strike and was transported to a hospital in Memphis.
Several trees were knocked down in Humboldt by straight line winds.
Flash flooding caused streets to be flooded with enough water to stall and flood several cars.
Flash flooding caused water to rise up to a foot at the intersection of East Mallory and Riverport Road in Southwest Memphis. The water also flooded a railroad track.
