Locally heavy rain, 7.75 inches measured, occurred across a large portion of Bolivar county during a 36 hour period from late Saturday night (Jan 21) to Sunday night (Jan 22). This heavy rain resulted in numerous roads being flooded Sunday afternoon with water getting into a few homes and threatening several others.
