A winter storm tracked across the region dumping heavy snow across the higher elevations of northeast Tennessee and the Smoky Mountains. 10 inches of snow was reported on Mt Leconte in Sevier County and 9 inches fell across Stone Mountain. 3-6 inches fell across the rest of the higher elevations. Around an inch was reported in the lower elevations of northeast Tennessee and the Northern Cumberland Plateau.
