DAKOTA...WEST CENTRAL AND NORTHWESTERN MINNESOTA...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA...WEST
CENTRAL AND NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS...WITH LARGE HAIL AND
DAMAGING WINDS...EXISTS ACROSS ALL OF EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA...WEST
CENTRAL AND NORTHWESTERN MINNESOTA THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING.
ISOLATED TORNADOES ARE ALSO POSSIBLE BETWEEN 2 PM AND 10 PM. THE
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD EXIT THE EASTERN PORTION OF THE FORECAST
AREA BY 2 AM FRIDAY MORNING.

A LOW PRESSURE CENTER AND ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE
AREA TODAY AND TONIGHT. THIS WEATHER FEATURE WILL BE THE FOCUSING
MECHANISM FOR THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT. DUE TO THE ANTICIPATED STEADY
EASTWARD PROGRESS OF THIS SYSTEM...THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAINFALL
IS REDUCED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS...SOME POSSIBLY SEVERE...EXISTS FOR THE
REGION FROM SATURDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY. IN ADDITION...THE
THUNDERSTORMS MAY ALSO PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL AND THE POTENTIAL FOR
FLASH FLOODING. THE AREA...AT THE PRESENT TIME...MOST LIKELY TO SEE
SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL APPEARS TO BE NORTH OF HIGHWAY 2 IN NORTHEASTERN
NORTH DAKOTA AND EXTREME NORTHWESTERN MINNESOTA. ADDITIONAL
