LINE OF SHOWERS WITH PERHAPS A RUMBLE OF THUNDER CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING...WINDS IN EXCESS OF 45 MPH.  THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED
ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 17 MILES WEST OF SUMMIT TO 16 MILES WEST
OF JEFFERSON TO 32 MILES SOUTHWEST OF JEFFERSON...OR ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM 8 MILES EAST OF HARTWICK TO MEREDITH TO 13 MILES

Excessiver runoff from heavy rains produced a mudslide along Route 5 in the town of Amsterdam. Several cars were damaged from this mudslide and Route 5 was closed for awhile. Additional minor accidents due to flooded roadways were noted in the nearby town of Florida.
