Police on Kauai had to close the Hanalei River Bridge as deep water inundated the roadway late in the day on the 1st. Other minor flooding occurred over northern parts of the Garden Isle as heavy showers impacted the area.

Also, in the early morning on the 2nd, police reported water across Awawa Road in Hanapepe on the southern coast of Kauai. There were no reports of serious property damage or injuries.
