A trade wind swell again produced surf of 5 to 10 feet along the east-facing shores of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Maui, and the Big Island of Hawaii. The north-bound lane of Bayfront Highway along Hilo Bay on the Big Island was closed for a time on the morning of the 9th by water and rocks being pushed ashore by the surf.

A trade wind swell again produced surf of 5 to 10 feet along the east-facing shores of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Maui, and the Big Island of Hawaii. The north-bound lane of Bayfront Highway along Hilo Bay on the Big Island was closed for a time on the morning of the 9th by water and rocks being pushed ashore by the surf. However, no serious injuries or property damage were reported
