A low pressure system that moved across northern Wisconsin left a swath of heavy snow in the northeast part of the state. The heaviest snowfall included 8.0 inches at Crivitz (southern Marinette co.), and near Townsend (northern Oconto co.), 6.7 inches at Mountain (northern Oconto co.), 6.3 inches near Athelstane (northern Marinette), 6.1 inches near Laona (Forest co.) and 6.0 inches at Elcho (Langlade co.), Crandon (Forest co.).
