Low pressure moved from the southern plains to southern Lake Michigan. Heavy snow began late in the evening on the 5th and continued into early on the 6th. Highest snowfall totals included 11.0 inches at North Bay and 4 miles northeast of Sister Bay (Door co.), 10.5 inches at Marinette (Marinette co.), 10.0 inches at Crivitz (Marinette co.), Fish Creek and Baileys Harbor (Door co.), 8.5 inches at Oconto and Oconto Falls (Oconto co.), 8.0 inches at Sturgeon Bay (Door co.) and 7.8 inches at Green Bay (Brown co.).
