UPDATE...
SURGE OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH
THE TROPICAL WAVE SOUTHEAST OF THE LOCAL AREA IS MIGRATING NORTHWEST
THIS EVENING AND IS LIKELY TO IMPACT THE SOUTHERN AND EASTERN
COASTAL AREAS OF PUERTO RICO. HAVE RAISED POPS ACCORDINGLY.
ADDITIONALLY...HAVE ADJUSTED THE POPS FOR ST. CROIX GIVEN THE
PROXIMITY OF THE HEAVY RAIN OFFSHORE.

STREAMER EMANATING FROM EL YUNQUE CONTINUES TO FIRE UP.  UNTIL EARLY
MORNING THURSDAY HAVE KEPT POPS HIGH IN A BAND DOWNWIND OF EL YUNQUE
TO COVER BASES.

.DISCUSSION...WILL CONTINUE WITH NOT MUCH CHANGES IN THE ACTUAL
FORECAST PACKAGE. SURFACE ANALYSIS DEPICTED A TROPICAL WAVE THIS
MORNING MAINLY SOUTH OF THE LOCAL AREA WHERE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED AN
AREA OF NUMEROUS SHOWERS AD THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE CARIBBEAN WATERS.
THIS WAVE SHOULD CONTINUE TO MOVE WEST THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON AND
TONIGHT EXITING THE LOCAL AREA EARLY THURSDAY. PART OF THE MOISTURE
AND INSTABILITY ASSOCIATED TO THIS WAVE SHOULD RESULT IN INCREASED
CHANCES OF PRECIPITATION THURSDAY.

ANOTHER TROPICAL WAVE IS EXPECTED TO ARRIVE TO THE LOCAL ISLANDS
FRIDAY. THIS SECOND WAVE WILL IN GENERAL MOVE MORE TO THE NORTH
WITH HIGHER CHANCES OF PRECIPITATION OVER THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS
AND PUERTO RICO FRIDAY...SATURDAY AND POSSIBLY SUNDAY WITH A DRIER
WEATHER MONDAY.
