Quarter size hail fell for over 30 minutes causing significant damage at an automobile dealership just north of Edinboro along State Route 99. Over 250 vehicles were damaged by the hail. A building at the dealership also sustained some roof damage.

A cluster of thunderstorms dumped an estimated three to four inches of rain on the central portion of Erie County in a short period of time. Rapid rises in several streams and creeks caused extensive flooding near McKean. A road was washed out just north of the town.
