AN UPPER LEVEL LOW IN THE VICINITY OF THE CENTRAL HAWAIIAN ISLANDS
WILL KEEP THE ISLAND ATMOSPHERE UNSTABLE THROUGH WEDNESDAY. SKIES
WILL LIKELY CLEAR OVER THE SMALLER ISLANDS TONIGHT...WITH LIGHT
LAND BREEZES PREDOMINATING. AFTERNOON HEATING AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY
WILL ONCE AGAIN PRODUCE SOME AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND POSSIBLE
THUNDERSTORMS. WITH TRADE WINDS EXPECTED TO RETURN ON THANKSGIVING
THE ISLANDS CAN EXPECT MAINLY WINDWARD AND MAUKA SHOWERS.

A LOW ALOFT LIES OVER THE CENTRAL ISLANDS OF HAWAII. IT WILL WEAKEN
AND MINOR OUT TO THE EAST WEDNESDAY...ALLOWING TRADE WINDS TO RETURN
INDER MOSTLY NORTHERLY FLOW ALOFT ON THANKSGIVING DAY. MOIST
TROPICAL MOISTURE IS STILL JUST OFFSHORE TO THE SOUTHEAST OF THE BIG
ISLAND OF HAWAII...AND IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN OFFSHORE...THUS ENDING
THE THREAT OF HEAVY RAINFALL OVER THAT ISLAND...WITH HEAVY SNOW AT
HIGHER ELEVATIONS. THUS THE WATCHES HAVE BEEN DROPPED AT 4 PM.

HOWEVER...LIGHT WINDS WILL REMAIN WITH US THROUGH WEDNESDAY...
ALLOWING FOR CLEARING SKIES TONIGHT MOST EVERYWHERE. WITH THE
UNSTABLE AIR STILL OVER THE ISLANDS ON WEDNESDAY...ISLANDERS CAN
EXPECT ANOTHER DAY OF SUNSHINE...WITH AFTERNOON CLOUDS AND ISOLATED
SHOWERS WEDNESDAY...SOME OF WHICH MAY BE HEAVY...AND JUST A CHANCE
OF A THUNDERSTORM. BY WEDNESDAY NIGHT...WITH TRADES RETURNING...THE
WINDWARD AND MAUKA SECTIONS OF THE ISLANDS MAY SEE CLOUDS AND A FEW
SHOWERS...BUT LEE SECTIONS WILL SEE CLEARING SKIES ONCE AGAIN. RIGHT
NOW IT LOOKS LIKE A SUNNY THANKSGIVING...EXCEPT FOR CLOUDS AND
SHOWERS WINDWARD AND MAUKA...BLOWN IN WITH THOSE INCREASING TRADE
WINDS.

.LONG TERM...WET TRADES LOOK LIKELY TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE COMING
WEEKEND...BUT WITH PLENTY OF SUNSHINE LEEWARD. TRADE SPEEDS SHOULD
BE IN THE MODERATE RANGE RIGHT THROUGH THE END OF THE FORECAST
