.SYNOPSIS...HIGH PRESSURE WILL BRING CONTINUED HOT WEATHER FOR
INLAND AREAS FOR THE NEXT WEEK. IT WILL BE COOLER NEAR THE COAST
WITH INCREASING COASTAL LOW CLOUDS THROUGH FRIDAY. A MINOR INTRUSION
OF MONSOONAL MOISTURE WILL BRING A SLIGHT CHANCE OF AFTERNOON AND
EVENING THUNDERSTORMS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS FOR THE WEEKEND
INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.

SAN DIEGO...WESTERN RIVERSIDE AND SOUTHWESTERN SAN BERNARDINO
COUNTIES.

LOW CLOUDS FARTHER INLAND THIS MORNING AND SLOWER TO CLEAR. A WEAK
COASTAL EDDY WILL BRING SLOW DEEPENING OF THE MARINE LAYER INTO
FRIDAY MORNING. STRATUS MAY EXTEND INTO LOWER PORTIONS OF THE INLAND
EMPIRE THURSDAY AND FRIDAY MORNINGS. THE DEEPENING MARINE LAYER WILL
ALSO BRING SLOW COOLING TO AREAS WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS TODAY AND
THURSDAY.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD FOR FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...WEAKENING A
LITTLE BY TUESDAY NEXT WEEK. A MINOR AMOUNT OF MONSOONAL MOISTURE
WILL SPREAD WESTWARD INTO SOUTHWEST CA SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...THEN
DECREASE A LITTLE TUESDAY NEXT WEEK. THIS MAY BE SUFFICIENT FOR
AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE MTNS...BUT LOOKS
LIKE NO MORE THAN A MINOR MONSOONAL EPISODE.

HIGH INLAND TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS...
MODULATED IN THE LOWER DESERTS BY MINOR INTRUSIONS OF MONSOONAL
MOISTURE.
