UPPER RIDGE NOW CENTERED OVER CENTRAL PLAINS. ISOLATED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS HAVE FIRED UP OVER MOST OF WEST CENTRAL TEXAS WITHIN
THE LAST SEVERAL HOURS. LARGEST AREA OF STORMS IS ASSOCIATED WITH
WESTWARD MOVING UPPER LEVEL SHORT WAVE MOVING INTO THE EASTERN
COUNTIES. DISTURBANCE SHOULD BE THROUGH CWA BY LATE THIS EVENING...
WILL PUT NOTE IN ZONES MENTIONING THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY MAINLY
BEFORE MIDNIGHT. CENTER OF UPPER HIGH WILL BUILD SE TOWARD THE LOWER
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY THROUGH THE WEEKEND WITH EASTERLY WAVE ALONG THE
UPPER TEXAS COAST ROTATING QUICKLY WESTWARD TRACKING SOUTH OF THE
CWA. CONSEQUENTLY...BEST CHANCE OF RAINFALL WILL BE IN SOUTHERN
TIER OF OUR COUNTIES WILL LESSER CHANCES IN OUR NORTHERN COUNTIES.
AVN RAPIDLY MOVES UPPER WAVE WEST OF THE AREA BY THE END OF THE
WEEKEND SO CHANCES OF PRECIP WILL DECREASE FURTHER INTO THE WEEKEND.
HOWEVER...GIVEN FCSTD MOISTURE PROFILE WILL KEEP SLIGHT CHANCE OF
POPS THROUGH MID WEEK BUT WILL IGNORE RAMP UP ON TUESDAY ASSOCIATED
WITH EXPECTED FRONTAL PASSAGE...AT LEAST UNTIL WE GET CLOSER TO THE
EVENT.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP ACROSS MUCH OF WEST
CENTRAL TEXAS THROUGH THIS EVENING. ALTHOUGH WIDESPREAD SEVERE
WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED...BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL...WIND GUSTS TO 45
MPH...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING CAN BE EXPECTED. THE STORMS SHOULD
PERSIST THROUGH SUNSET...THEN SLOWLY BEGIN TO DISSIPATE THROUGH THE
EARLY MORNING HOURS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...

A WEAK UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL DRIFT SLOWLY ACROSS WEST CENTRAL
TEXAS THROUGH SUNDAY...HELPING DEVELOP SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS
ACROSS THE AREA EACH AFTERNOON. AGAIN...ALTHOUGH NONE OF THESE
STORMS WILL LIKELY REACH SEVERE LEVELS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING WILL BE
LIKELY WITH THE STRONGER STORMS.
