SHOW A CONTINUOUS MOISTURE FEED INTO THE COAST. RAINFALL RATES HAVE
BEEN INCREASING AFTER SLOWING DOWN EARLIER TODAY. CLOUD TOP
ENHANCEMENT HAS BEEN OCCURRING OFFSHORE IN ADVANCE OF A WAVE LOCATED
AT 40N 135W...WITH A STRONGER WAVE AT 40N 145N ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE
TROUGH. A 140 KT JET PUSHING INTO THE PAC NW WILL SINK SOUTH ALONG
THE COAST TONIGHT WITH AN ACTIVE OMEGA FIELD MOVING DOWN ALONG THE
COAST AND INTO NORTHERN CALIFORNIA BETWEEN 0 AND 6Z TONIGHT...
RESULTING IN COPIOUS PRECIPITATION. FLOOD WARNINGS HAVE BEEN ISSUED
FOR SMALL STREAMS IN WESTERN PARTS OF THE CWA TODAY AND TONIGHT.
THE NEXT FORECAST ISSUE IS THE STRONG WINDS. A HIGH WIND WARNING
IS OUT FOR THE HEADLANDS AND SHASTA VALLEY WITH ADVISORIES FOR THE
EAST SIDE...WHERE WINDS HAVE ALREADY GUSTED IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.
A WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR ZONES 80 AND 82 IN
WESTERN SISKIYOU COUNTY TONIGHT AND SNOW ADVISORIES IN THE CASCADS...
SISKIYOUS...PARTS OF THE NEAR EAST SIDE...AND THE SOUTHERN PORTION
OF THE KLAMATH BASIN. THE GREATEST DYNAMIC OMEGAS WILL OCCUR ALONG
THE COAST AND LATER INTO WESTERN AND SOUTHERN SISKIYOU COUNTY. THE
SHASTA REGION WILL BE SUSCEPTIBLE TO UPSLOPE EFFECTS FROM THE
SACRAMENTO VALLEY AS WELL. SHOWERS WILL CLEAR OUT LATE SUNDAY AS A
RIDGE BEGINS TO BUILD OVER THE WEST COAST BEHIND THE DEPARTING
TROUGH. THIS CLEARING SETS THE STAGE FOR SOME DENSE FOG IN THE
