Snow began in the early morning of the 14th, accumulating 5 inches by 7 AM. It changed to freezing rain and sleet in the afternoon of the 14th.
Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.

Snow began in the early morning of the 14th, accumulating 5 inches by 7 AM. It changed to freezing rain and sleet in the afternoon of the 14th. At least a quarter inch of ice glaze accumulated before it changed to back to snow during the late afternoon and night of the 14th. And accumulated another 5 inches or so. Total snow accumulation ranged from 9 to 13 inches.
