A strong storm on the gulf coast moved slowly northeast up the east coast on the 14th to be near the Delmarva peninsula late that day. The storm continued up the coast on the 15th to be in southeast Canada late that evening.

A strong storm on the gulf coast moved slowly northeast up the east coast on the 14th to be near the Delmarva peninsula late that day. The storm continued up the coast on the 15th to be in southeast Canada late that evening. Snow started in the early morning hours of the 14th. Snowfall amounts of 6 to 9 inches were across the area. Some 10 inch snow amounts were in Bradford County. Freezing rain and sleet mixed with the snow for a time cutting down the snow amounts. Snowy roads caused automobile accidents.
