THIS EVENING WINDS WILL DROP OFF AND SKIES WILL BE CLEAR EAST OF
THE CASCADES. THIS WILL ALLOW THE TEMPERATURES TO FALL INTO THE
MID TO LOWER 30S WITH COLD TEMPERATURES AND WIDESPREAD FROST IN
MANY VALLEYS. WILL UPDATE THE FORECAST TO ISSUE A FROST WARNING
FOR THOSE AREAS. WEST OF THE CASCADES MARINE AIR WILL BRING IN
LOW CLOUDS NORTH OF THE UMPQUA DIVIDE. SOUTH OF THE DIVIDE AND
INTO NORTHERN CALIFORNIA LIGHT OFFSHORE FLOW WILL MAINTAIN CLEAR
OR MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES. THE PATTERN OF COLD TEMPERATURES EAST OF
THE CASCADES AND LOW CLOUDS WEST OF THE CASCADES WILL LARGELY BE
REPEATED SUNDAY NIGHT. THE OFFSHORE FLOW WILL BE WEAKER THOUGH AND
ALLOW SOME CLOUDS INTO THE ROGUE BASIN. ANOTHER DIFFERENCE IS THE
SHORT WAVE DEEPENING THE TROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT WHICH COULD BRING SOME
HIGH CLOUDS AND NOT LET THE WIND BECOME CALM EAST OF THE CASCADES
WHICH WOULD LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF FROST. MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT
A STILL STRONGER SHORT WAVE WILL BRING LIGHT PRECIPITATION TO THE
FORECAST AREA. A WARM UP WILL COMMENCE WEDNESDAY AS THE UPPER LEVEL
RIDGE REPLACES THE TROUGH. THIS WILL LIKELY BRING HIGHS UP TO ABOUT
