Heavy rain caused flash flooding from Tuba City to Shonto. Some dirt roads washed out along State Route 98 about 50 miles west of Kayenta.

Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.

Heavy rain caused flash flooding from Tuba City to Shonto. Some dirt roads washed out along State Route 98 about 50 miles west of Kayenta. Navajo Routes 16 and 21 were among the dirt roads that were washed out.
