AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GREEN BAY WI 835 PM CDT MON JUN 24 2002 AFTER COORDINATING WITH ARX...WAS SERIOUSLY THINKING OF A FLOOD WATCH FOR MARATHON...WOOD AND PORTAGE COUNTIES. BASED ON RADAR TRENDS...THE HEAVIEST RAINS WERE DIMINISHING IN AREAL COVERAGE AND INTENSITY WEST OF MY CWA...THEREFORE WILL NOT ISSUE A WATCH AT THIS TIME.
