An area of low pressure moved across New York State during Sunday and across New England Sunday night. A mixture of rain and snow spread across the area Sunday and Sunday night. The precipitation was mostly a wet snow in the higher elevations. Accumulations were generally 1 to 4 inches with accumulations terrain dependent.

CONSISTENT WITH CURRENT OBSERVATIONS OF LOWER ELEVATION RAINFALL AND
12Z MODEL RUNS WITH WARMER THICKNESSES AND H8 TEMPS.  ALSO
CHANGED THE TONIGHT PERIOD TO INDICATE THE RELATIVE DRY SLOT WITH
ONLY SCATTERED SHOWERS FROM LATE AFTN TIL MIDNIGHT...THEN
RETURN OF STEADIER PRECIPITAITON THAT WILL BE TRANSITIONING TO
SNOW MOST AREAS BEFORE DAWN.

ADVISORY AREAS STILL IN EFFECT...BUT EMPHASIZED HIGHER ELEVATIONS
AND IMMEDIATE CANADIAN BORDER.  ALSO EMPHASIZED
REDEVELOPMENT OF OVERNIGHT SNOWFALL WILL BE NECESSARY TO MEET
ADVISORY CRITERIA SNOWFALL AMOUNTS.
