WEDNESDAY...THEN SUBTROPICAL RIDGE DOMINATES THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
MCS/MCV AND ASSOCIATED OUTFLOW JUST NORTH OF HILL COUNTRY.  FLOW
ALOFT ON BACK SIDE OF SHEAR AXIS WILL ENABLE SYSTEM TO DRIFT TOWARD
THE BIG BEND BY WEDNESDAY.  ETA/MESO-ETA SEEMS BETTER AND FORECAST
GOES TRENDS TOWARD IT.  CHANCE POPS FAR NORTHWEST TO NO POPS
SOUTHEAST TONIGHT.  POPS SLOWLY DECREASE OUT WEST TUESDAY INTO
WEDNESDAY AS MCV DRIFTS WEST...PWS DECREASE TO LESS THAN 1.5
INCHES...LOW LEVEL JET WEAKENS AND MID LEVEL TEMPERATURES (CURRENTLY
11C AT 700 MB AND -6C AT 500 MB) INCREASE.  WEAK PRESSURE GRADIENT
WOULD ENHANCE SEABREEZE CONVERGENCE...HOWEVER THE ABOVE SAME REASONS
MAKE POPS NEAR ZERO.  OVER THE WEEKEND AND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK...AN

On July 29, widely scattered showers and thunderstorms formed over the western Hill Country and Edwards Plateau. General 1 to 2 inch rainfall, with isolated totals to near 4 inches fell over southern Edwards County and northern Uvalde county. SH55 was shut down in places between Rocksprings and Barksdale for several evening hours as a result of the heavy rain. No damage was reported.

On July 29, widely scattered showers and thunderstorms formed over the western Hill Country and Edwards Plateau. General 1 to 2 inch rainfall, with isolated totals to near 4 inches fell over southern Edwards County and northern Uvalde county. SH55 was shut down in places from just south of Camp Wood to near Uvalde for several late night hours as a result of the heavy rain. No damage was indicated.
