General 3 to 4 inch rainfall was indicated over the western part of Caldwell County. Flash flooding was reported, but little damage was indicated to roads at this time.
General 3 to 4 inch rains fell over the county, with isolated totals of up to 6 inches in the west. Flash flooding redeveloped very quickly. More than 70 roads were reported to be closed. Damage was widespread to rural roads, mainly in the western part of the county.
General 3 to 4 inch totals over the county brought the flash flooding of low water crossings over the county from near sunrise into the late afternoon. Damage was generally to roads in the county, and was reported to be very spotty.
General 2 inch totals fell over the county with isolated amounts of up to 5 inches in the south part of the county. Flash flooding was reported between Muldoon, Flatonia and Schulenburg from through much of the morning and afternoon. Scattered damage was reported to roads in the south part of the county.
General 3 to 4 inch rainfall over the county was indicated, with isolated totals of up to 7 inches. Flash flooding redeveloped very quickly in the morning and continued into the afternoon. A sinkhole was reported at Burnet Road and Koenig Lane. Walnut Creek flooded out mobile homes in East Austin. Widespread damage has been reported to roads and bridges.
General 2 to 3 inch totals fell across the county. Flash flooding was spotty over the county from the morning into the mid afternoon.
General 2 to 3 inch totals over the county, with isolated amount of up to 4 inches, was sufficient to begin flash flooding in the mid morning and continue into the mid afternoon. More than 30 roads were reported flooded. Damage is reported to roads and bridges.
Additional 3 to 4 inch totals fell across the county, with as much as 9 inches in some locations. Flash flooding developed immediately and continued through the remainder of the day, into the evening, and finally ended in the early morning hours of July 3. More than 100 freeways or streets were closed. Flooding closed Interstate 10 just north of San Antonio. Public safety officers in boats, high-water vehicles and helicopters staged rescues across San Antonio. Damage by now was widespread to roads and bridges across Bexar County, with numerous evacuations and considerable damage to homes.
