AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MEMPHIS TN 841 PM CDT TUE MAY 7 2002 MOST CONVECTION HAS DIED OUT WITH DIURNAL HEATING CUT OFF. WILL REMOVE POPS FROM SECOND UPDATE AREA...MEMPHIS TO THE SOUTHWEST. STILL SEEING SOME CONVECTION FIRING NEAR AND SOUTH OF BVX...WHICH WILL MOVE INTO MISSOURI. EARLIER CONVECTION APPEARS TO HAVE LAID OUT A BOUNDARY NEAR A JBR- LEXINGTON TN LINE. CERTAINLY NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION THAT CURRENT SW MO CONVECTION COULD AFFECT AREAS TO THE NORTH OF THE BOUNDARY. WILL KEEP MENTION OF PRECIP IN OVERNIGHT...AND WORD AFTER MIDNIGHT OR TOWARD MORNING AS APPLICABLE. HAVE SOME DOUBTS ABOUT ANY SEVERE WEATHER REACHING OUR CWA OVERNIGHT (PER SWODY1)...AS BEST STORMS STILL BACK IN SE KS. WILL NOT MENTION SEVERE STORMS IN UPDATE. PROBABLY WILL NOT NEED TO CHANGE LOW TEMPERATURE FORECAST ANY TIME SOON. UPDATE SHOULD BE OUT BY ABOUT 02Z. 10 .MEG...NONE.
