AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SIOUX FALLS SD 907 PM CDT TUE SEP 17 2002 HAVE TWEAKED DATABASE A BIT WITH RESPECT TO CLOUD COVERAGE AND DEW POINTS. DEW POINTS ALREADY MOVING INTO THE LOW 60S ACROSS NORTHWEST IOWA AND UPSTREAM INTO CENTRAL IOWA...THE DEW POINTS CLIMB INTO THE MID 60S. HAVE ALSO ADDED A CHANCE FOR THUNDER TO THE SOUTHWEST CWA AS MINOR CONVECTION CONTINUES TO PULSE UP AND DOWN ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL NE ON THE NOSE OF AN INCOMING JET STREAK. JET STREAK WINDS APPEAR TO BE MUCH STRONGER PER THE WATER VAPOR LOOP OVER CA AND NV SO ANTICIPATE THIS ACTIVITY SHOULD CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. OTHERWISE TEMPERATURES IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE WITH LOWS ABOUT 10 TO 15 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. .FSD...NONE 08
