330 PM AST SAT SEP 28 2002

HEAVY CLOUD COVER KEPT A LID ON THE AFTERNOON HEATING. THE
AFTERNOON CONVECTION STAYED OVER THE WATER MOSTLY AFFECTING
THE MARINE AREA AND THE VIRGIN ISLANDS. WEAK HIGH PRESSURE AT
20N/50W IS BRING UP A LOT OF MOISTURE ON SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST
WINDS THAT ARE VERY LIGHT INTO T.S. KYLE LOCATED SEVERAL
HUNDRED MILES NORTH OF PUERTO RICO AND DRIFTING TO THE WEST
TOWARDS THE BAHAMAS. THIS DRIFT WILL CONTINUE FOR ANOTHER
24 TO 36 HOURS. AFTER THAT STATIONARY FOR 24 HOURS THEN START
TO MOVE EAST. ALL OF THIS TIME HAVING AN EFFECT ON THE EASTERN
CARIBBEAN BY INFLUENCING THE WIND FLOW WHICH WILL BECOME
SOUTHEAST SUN-MON THEN EAST THEREAFTER BUT CONTINUED LIGHT
AND BY GENERATING ENOUGH SWELLS TO CREATE A STEADY NE SWELL
OF AROUND 4 FEET MAINLY IN THE OFF SHORE WATERS AND THE
PASSAGES. SO THE FORECAST WILL BE VERY REPETITIVE AS WE ARE
TO REMAIN IN A MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIR MASS...VERY WEAK DYNAMICS
AND MARGINAL LIFTING THROUGH THURSDAY.
