A VERY STRONG UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN OVER THE WESTERN
U.S. THROUGH THE SHORT TERM. THE CENTER OF THE HIGH IS ROUGHLY OVER
THE INTERSECTION OF THE OREGON...IDAHO AND NEVADA BORDERS. AS A
RESULT EXPECT TEMPERATURES TO STAY UP THROUGH FRIDAY IN THE WESTERN
ZONES AND THROUGH SATURDAY IN THE EASTERN ONES. ALSO HIGH BASED
MOISTURE WILL ADVECT AROUND THE CENTER INTO THE PACNW THROUGH THE
PERIOD. MOISTURE AT AROUND 15000 FEET AND ABOVE HAS ALREADY MIGRATED
INTO SOUTH-CENTRAL OREGON LATE THIS AFTERNOON RESULTING IN SOME HIGH
BASED TOWERING CUMULUS. ENOUGH MOISTURE REACHED THE SOUTHERN BLUE
MOUNTAINS WHERE A FEW BUILD UPS DEVELOPED. THUNDERSTORMS WITHIN THIS
BAND OF MOISTURE...WHICH EXTENDS SOUTH THROUGH MOST OF CALIFORNIA...
HAVE REACHED INTO MODOC COUNTY IN EXTREME NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. THERE
IS A FAIR AMOUNT OF RESIDUAL MID/HIGH LEVEL CLOUDINESS OVER
SOUTH-CENTRAL OREGON. DO EXPECT THIS CLOUD COVER TO DISSIPATE SOME
OVERNIGHT...BUT SOME OF THIS CLOUD SHOULD SPREAD NORTH AND NORTHEAST
INTO OUR FORECAST AREA OVERNIGHT. TRENDS REMAIN ON TRACK TO GET SOME
