.SYNOPSIS...A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM NOW MOVING THROUGH NEVADA WILL
CREATE A THREAT FOR AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS. AT THIS TIME THE LATTER PART OF THE WEEKEND
LOOKS BEST FOR OUTDOOR PLANS...HOWEVER ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM
IS APPROACHING THE AREA TO PRODUCE UNSETTLED WEATHER FOR THE
BEGINNING OF NEXT WEEK.

.DISCUSSION...CONVECTION ONGOING IN ZONE 35 THIS MORNING. INFREQUENT
LIGHTNING THUS FAR AND DEWPOINTS RESISTING UPWARD MOTION. LAST OB
MADE IT INTO THE 20S. REMAINS VERY DRY AT SURFACE. POSSIBILITY OF
SOME PRE-DAWN CONVECTIVE SHOWERS OVER ZONE 37 AS WELL AS THETA-E
RIDGE TRANSLATES NORTHWARD OVERNIGHT. WATER VAPOR SATELLITE IMAGERY
SHOWS DEFINED SHORTWAVE MOVING INTO U.S. FROM PACIFIC...AND STILL
DIGGING. SOME GOOD H7/H3 COUPLING OVER MOST OF CWFA THURSDAY AND
FRIDAY AFTERNOON. SATURDAY DYNAMICS SHIFT EASTWARD BUT NOT COMPLETELY
OUT OF CWFA AS SHORTWAVE IS PROGGED TO LIFT AND MOVE NORTHEAST OVER
BROAD RIDGE IN SOUTH-CENTRAL U.S. SUNDAY CONTINUES TO LOOK BEST FOR A
DRY DAY AS SHORT WAVE RIDGE MOVES ACROSS NEVADA. HOWEVER APPROACHING
STRONG UPPER LEVEL LOW FEATURE NOW OFF PACIFIC NORTHWEST COAST...THE
POTENTIAL KICKER FOR CURRENT SYSTEM...WILL INHIBIT SIGNIFICANT
RIDGING AND MAKE IT SHORT-LIVED. THE LOW FEATURE WILL SPIN OFF SW
LOBES THAT WILL AFFECT NORTHERN CWFA INTERMITTENTLY.
