THEY ARE BEING AIDED BY SHORTWAVE TROF MOVING OUT OF NERN WY. EVEN THOUGH THIS FEATURE WILL HAVE EXITED NEBRASKA PNHNDL BY MIDDAY...OTHER WEAK SHORTWAVES STILL COMING DOWN IN THE NWLY FLOW ALOFT TODAY. WITH BETTER MOISTURE...INSTABILITY AND THETA-E...SCT POPS STILL LOOK GOOD FOR SHWRS/TSTMS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. PER SPC DAY 1 OUTLOOK...THREAT OF SVR STORMS SHOULD BE SE OF CWA. WHILE UPPER HEIGHTS DO RISE ON SUNDAY...THERE WILL STILL BE SOME MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY AROUND IN THE AFTN TO WARRANT 20 PERCENT POPS IN MOST AREAS OF THE CWA. SPC HAS ERN CWA IN SLGT RISK IN DAY 2 OUTLOOK. RIDGE FINALLY BUILDS IN FOR MONDAY...BUT FLATTENS ALREADY ON TUE. WILL INCLUDE LOW POPS FOR ERN CWA WHERE AVN KEEPS SOME QPF AND INSTABILITY BUT DRY OUT THE WRN CWA SINCE ONLY ISOLD TSTMS ARE EXPECTED. AFTER TDA...NEXT DECENT CHANCE OF TSTMS FOR ENTIRE CWA LOOKS TO BE THURSDAY. TEMPS WILL BE DOWN A COUPLE OF DEGREES TODAY AS WEAK SFC RIDGE TURNS WINDS NELY AND MORE CLOUDS FORM FASTER.
