ZONES WERE UPDATED ABOUT AN HOUR AGO TO ACCOUNT FOR LATEST SAT AND
RADAR TRENDS. COVERAGE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING IS
GREATER THAN PREVIOUS FORECAST AND STORMS HAVE PERSISTED LONGER THAN
EARLIER EXPECTED.

AFTER EARLIER ROUND OF A FEW SEVERE STORMS...MCS TYPE SYSTEM HAS
DRIFTED SOUTHWEST FROM WV AND INTO EASTERN KY AS IT ROTATES AROUND
THE UPPER RIDGE. STORMS APPEAR TO BE REDEVELOPING ON THE PERIPHERY
OF THIS SYSTEM IN AREAS NOT WORKED OVER FROM LATE AFTERNOON/EARLY
EVENING CONVECTION AS OUTFLOW BOUNDARY MOVES OFF TO THE WEST. WITH
DEEP MOISTURE OVER THE REGION...TROPICAL DOWNPOURS HAVE BEEN
OBSERVED. POPS WERE CONTINUED INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS AND
RAISED OVER THE EASTERN ZONES. UPDATED GRIDS HAVE ALSO BEEN SENT.
