HEAVIEST PRECIPITATION HAD SHIFTED SOUTH OF THE COUNTY FORECAST AREA
AT 19Z.
THE FORECAST CONCERN WILL FOCUS ON THIS EVENING. A WEAK SURFACE LOW
WILL MOVE NORTHEAST ALONG THE COLD FRONT. THIS SYSTEM BRINGS
ADDITIONAL MOISTURE INTO SOUTHERN KENTUCKY THIS EVENING AND CLOUD
COVER TO THE REGION. WE WILL KEEP A MENTION OF SHOWERS OVER THE
SOUTHERN CFA THROUGH MIDNIGHT. SKIES WILL CLEAR FROM THE NORTHWEST
TO SOUTHEAST OVERNIGHT AND MOST OF THE REGION SHOULD BE CLEAR BY
MORNING.
THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS WILL BE FAIRLY BEGIN AS A MID LEVEL RIDGE
BUILDS INTO THE OHIO VALLEY. TEMPERATURES THROUGH THE WEEKEND WILL
BE WILL ABOVE NORMAL.

The Rough River at Dundee was above flood stage from late in the evening on January 24 until early afternoon on January 25. The river crested at 25.26 feet at 730 AM EST on January 25. Flood stage at Dundee is 25 feet. At this level, a section of highway about a half mile long near the bridge begins to flood.
