NARRATIVE SYNOPTIC DISCUSSION FOR WAKE ISLAND INFRARED SATELLITE IMAGES AND SURFACE OBSERVATIONS SHOW VERY LITTLE IN THE WAY OF CUMULUS OR STRATOCUMULUS NEARBY. WHAT FEW LOW CLOUDS THERE ARE APPEAR TO BE DISSIPATING AS THEY APPROACH. A HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE ABOUT 300 MILES TO THE NORTH WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP THE WEATHER VERY TRANQUIL FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS. LOTS OF SUNSHINE CAN BE EXPECTED DURING THE DAY WITH MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES AT NIGHT. THE CHANCE OF MEASURABLE RAIN IS VERY SLIGHT. EAST WINDS WILL AVERAGE AROUND 10 KT. NO SIGNIFICANT SWELL IS EXPECTED THROUGH AT LEAST EARLY FRIDAY. RAB
