NARRATIVE SYNOPTIC DISCUSSION FOR WAKE ISLAND SATELLITE SHOWS THAT THE BAND OF CLOUDS THAT WERE HEADING TOWARD WAKE QUICKLY DISSIPATED. THESE CLOUDS WERE ASSOCIATED WITH A SHEARLINE A FEW OPEN CELLED CUMULUS ELEMENTS ARE EVIDENT IN THE TRADE FLOW UPWIND FROM WAKE. EXPECT SUNSHINE THIS MORNING AND A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS THIS AFTERNOON. THERE WILL BE A FEW CLOUDY PERIODS TONIGHT WITH A SMALL CHANCE OF A SHOWER AS LOW LEVEL MOISTURE RETURNS TO THE AREA ON THE TRADE FLOW. NORTHEAST WIND 15 TO 20 KNOTS WILL INCREASE TO 20 TO 25 KNOTS WITH HIGHER GUSTS BY TONIGHT. NO SIGNIFICANT SWELL IS EXPECTED.
