A COLD FRONT EXTENDS FROM 25N165E WESTWARD TO 24N150E. SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE FOUND ALONG AND UP TO 200 MILES NORTH OF THIS BOUNDARY. A NEAR-EQUATORIAL TROUGH EXTENDS FROM 10N138E TO A CIRCULATION NEAR 4N148E...THEN EAST TO 7N162E AND SOUTHEAST TO THE EQUATOR AT 173E. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE LOCATED BETWEEN 1N AND 10N FROM 148E TO 172E. AN UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH EXTENDS FROM 25N170E TO 18N160E TO 15N140E TO 10N132E. FAVORABLE UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE TROUGH ARE PRODUCING THREE AREAS OF SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. THE FIRST IS 75 MILES EITHER SIDE OF A LINE FROM 14N160 TO 11N151E. THE SECOND AREA IS SOUTHWEST OF GUAM FROM 10N TO 13N BETWEEN 142E AND 145E. THE THIRD AREA IS JUST NORTHWEST OF YAP OR 75 MILES EITHER SIDE OF A LINE FROM 9N137E TO 13N138E.
