WITH THE INCREASE IN HUMIDITY...TEMPERATURES WILL LOWER TO SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. .DISCUSSION...STORMS THAT BUILT OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF NORTHWEST ARIZONA PROPAGATED SOUTHWEST ACROSS THE COLORADO RIVER THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE AT THIS TIME ACROSS SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY. STRONG OUTFLOW FROM STORMS ONCE THEY COLLAPSED WAS THE PROBLEM OF THE SHIFT. DID RECEIVE SOME REPORTS OF WIND GUSTS AROUND 55 MPH WITHIN THE LAKE MEAD NATIONAL RECREATION AREA. ANY RAINFALL WAS LIGHT WITH KINGMAN GETTING ABOUT A TENTH OF AN INCH. PRESENTLY MONITORING STORMS NEAR THE GRAND CANYON. KESX 88D SHOWS REFLECTIVITES AND LIGHTNING INCREASING IN COVERAGE OVER EASTERN MOHAVE COUNTY. AS DAY SHIFT STATED...WATCHING INVERTED TROUGH OVER WESTERN ARIZONA. 00Z MESO-ETA SHIFTS INVERTED TROUGH AND MORE SUBSTANTIAL MOISTURE WEST INTO INYO AND FAR WESTERN SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY THURSDAY. IN EVENING UPDATE WILL LEAVE NOCTURNAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN ZONES SOUTH OF THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY. WILL ALSO INCREASE COVERAGE IN CALIFORNIA ZONES THURSDAY.
