Showers heavy at times associated with a stationary trough of low pressure over Samoa dumped 2 inches of rainfall in 24 hours causing flooding of low lying areas in the afternoon and into the evenings. Heavy runoffs continued to overflow small streams and caused some minor land slides as grounds has been saturated as it was raining on and off for the last two days. No major damages were reported.
