A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE OVER TUTUILA DUMPED MORE THAN AN INCH OF RAINFALL WITHIN TWO HOURS CAUSING FLOODING LOW LYING AREAS AND BONDING OF STREETS. THE SHOWERS LINGERED FOR A FEW DAYS MORE ALTHOUGH NOT QUITE SIGNIFICANT.
