Blizzard conditions were reported at Cape Romanzof as a deepening low pressure center moved rapidly northward across the western Bering sea. This low and its associated frontal boundary produced snow and strong winds.

This low and its associated frontal boundary produced snow and strong winds. The combination of these two resulted in blowing snow that reduced the visibility at Cape Romanzof to zero for several hours.
