Remains of a low, located near Sitkinak Wednesday, moved north northwest into the western Alaska Range. Winds at Glen Alps had diminished to the advisory level from the pre-frontal strong winds Wednesday.

Strong winds were reported on the east and south side of the low.Winds at Glen Alps had diminished to the advisory level from the pre-frontal strong winds Wednesday. Gusts increased to 78 mph at 5 am AST Thursday, continuing at warning levels through most of the rest of the morning.
