A weekend storm reportedly dumped more than 4 feet of snow on the mountains around Hatcher Pass, setting up three avalanches that close the road there Saturday. No injuries or property damage was reported, however three people from the Hatcher Pass Lodge got stuck when they tried to leave Saturday. They were taken out by snowmachine.
