PCPN SHIFTG NE ABOUT OUT OF AREA ATTM...WITH SOME SNW/FRZG RAIN IN
IT.  MORE PCPN BREAKING OUT WITH ENHANCING CLOUDS ACROSS NW CO INTO
S CNTRL WY.  HAD CONSIDERED DOWNGRADING WARNING TO ADVY...BUT AFTER
TALKING WITH OTHER OFFICES PLUS CURRENT SATELLITE TRENDS...WILL
CONTINUE WITH WARNING.  STILL THINK ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL TODAY WILL
NOT BE THAT MUCH THO.  AREA OF CONCERN SHIFTING TO S CENTRAL WY.
WILL POST ADVY FOR S CNTRL SECTIONS AROUND RWL AS SHOULD BE DECENT
OVERRUNNING OF SFC FRONT ALONG CO/WY BORDER.  THIS WILL MESH BETTER
WITH RIW ZONES.  HAVE ALSO OPTED TO PULL AIA ZONE OUT OF WARNING AS
APPEARS THAT ONCE FRONT PASSES THROUGH...MAIN PCPN AREA SHOULD BE
OUT OF AREA.  FRONT MAKING SOME PROGRESS E AREA NOW...SHOULD
CONTINUE SLIDING S SIMILAR TO ETA/AVN MIX ON TIMING.  FOR LATER
PERIODS...WILL CONTINUE WITH WATCH IN SE WY AND SRN NEB PNHNDL...
ALTHOUGH THIS ALSO LOOKS LIKE IT WILL END UP BEING AN ADVY TYPE OF
AN EVENT.  QUITE COLD ON THU WITH ARCTIC AIR IN PLACE.  ALSO ADDED
THU NIGHT PERIOD WITH SOME SNOW EARLY...WITH FRI DRY AS WE SHOULD BE

Heavy snow fell in a swath from south central into east central Wyoming, with as much as 11 to 13 inches of snow reported in Rawlins, WY. 6 to 7 inches fell in Douglas, WY. A 250 mile stretch of Interstate 80 was closed for much of the day between Laramie and Rock Springs, WY, with many secondary roads also closed.
