Heavy rain on the 29th and 30th resulted in minor flooding on the Roanoke River at Randolph and the Dan River at South Boston. At Randolph, the Roanoke River crested almost 1.5 feet above flood stage at 0700 on the 31st. At South Boston, the Dan River crested almost 3 feet above flood state at 1300 on the 31st.
