A cold front moved from west to east across Vermont Saturday evening. Thunderstorms preceded and accompanied the front with heavy rain and gusty winds across the county. In Highgate Falls, the wind gusted to 35 mph (30 knots) at 545 PM EDT (445 PM EST).
