AS THESE VORTICIES COLLIDE WITH THE MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIR MASS OVER SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS AND THE HILL COUNTRY TONIGHT AND FRIDAY...EXPECT MORE LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN EVENTS ON TOP OF WHAT WEVE ALREADY RECEIVED LAST NIGHT AND TODAY. 3 tornado. Local standard time, as filed.
A small and short-lived F0 tornado was spotted by the public who had been trained in NWS public safety programs. The tornado occurred in an open area and caused no damage.
An F0 tornado formed just east of New Braunfels in Comal County and moved northeastward toward the National Weather Service Office near the New Braunfels Airport in Guadalupe County. The tornado was mostly in open country in Comal County and caused no significant damage.
The tornado listed in Comal County above moved into Guadalupe County and dissipated after causing extensive roof damage to two barns and scattered debris in various directions. One barn was completely de-roofed. Some of the metal tin in second barn was lifted and twisted in one direction and toward another direction on the other side of the roof.
