Widespread flash flooding developed very close to sunrise and continued into the late morning and early afternoon over the area. Nearly all rural roads in Kendall and Gillespie Counties were closed, as well as in southern Burnet County. Flash flooding was widespread in Bexar County, mainly in poorly drained areas and along rural roads. Damage was generally to roads and bridges across the area.
