A moderate to severe long-term drought continued across all of Deep South Texas during the month of November. Although beneficial rainfall amounts were distributed across the Valley providing short-term relief...yearly rainfall totals continue well below normal at many locations. Departure from normal for the year at selected cities follows:Brownsville -9.64...Harlingen...-5.07...Mcallen...-3.98...McCook -6.26...Port Mansfield -10.04...Zapata -6.07...and Falcon Dam reported a departure from normal of -5.52 inches.

AREA.  LOOKS LIKE THEY WONT LAST ALL NIGHT SO THE PARTLY CLOUDY
FORECAST CURRENTLY IN THE ZONES LOOKS FINE.  TEMPS AND WINDS LOOK
FINE AS WELL.

T.S. MICHELLE HAS FORMED IN THE WESTERN CARIBBEAN.  LONG RANGE
MODELS KEEP THE SYSTEM TO OUR EAST AS SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS
DOWN INTO THE SOUTHERN PLAINS THIS WEEKEND.  STRONG GRADIENT
CONTINUES TONIGHT OVER FLORIDA AND THE EASTERN GULF.  SWELLS AT 6 TO
7 FEET AT BUOY 42020 COMING IN FROM THE EAST WHERE WINDS ARE
STRONGER. WILL BE BORDERLINE SCA MOST OF THE NIGHT SO WILL KEEP WITH
THE SCEC.  SHOULD SEE THE LONGER PERIOD SWELLS CONTINUE THROUGH THE
END OF THE WEEK AND POSSIBLY INTO THE WEEKEND DEPENDING ON THE
STRENGTH AND MOVEMENT OF MICHELLE.
