MORNING UPPER AIR SOUNDING FROM KLCH INDICATING MOIST UNSTABLE
AIRMASS IN PLACE ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA. PRECIPITABLE WATER
VALUES NEAR 1.5 INCHES...LI'S (-10)...CAPE AROUND 4500 J/KG.
TRIGGER TEMP WAS NOTED AT 85F. WITH THESE TEMPERATURES REACHED
AT KBPT/KLCH RADARS INDICATING THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING OVER
SOUTHEAST TEXAS AND SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA. TEMPS LAGGING BEHIND
IN CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA SO NO DEVELOPMENT
YET IN THESE AREAS.

AS TEMPS CONTINUE TO WARM SEABREEZE BOUNDARY WILL BECOME MORE ACTIVE
AS WE GO INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS. ALSO...OUTFLOW BOUNDARY HEADING
TO THE SOUTH OUT OF NORTHWEST LOUISIANA. THIS WILL HELP FIRE OFF
STORMS OVER LAKES AREA OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS AND CENTRAL LOUISIANA.

VERTICAL WIND PROFILE ON THE WEAK SIDE WITH SOUNDING SHOWING STORM
MOTION AROUND 5 KNOTS. THEREFORE HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE
LIKELY WITH THE STRONGER STORMS. THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF URBAN
FLOODING DEPENDING ON WHERE THE CELLS MOVE OVER.
